Cecilia Two Tone Strapless Maxi Dress

I bought size Medium. I’m 5’3 tall, bust 35”, waist 33”, hips 42” with bra size 34DDD or 36DD, and a 30x30 pant size. The height is perfect. It hugs my body perfectly. However my boobs overflow in the small white “cups”…. It’s a bit revealing but not too tooo bad. Luckily the white part of the dress stays on me really well with its grip even when I bend down. If I can figure out a way to tighten up the boobs and not have them hang in the black part of the dress this would be 1000% perfect. I might try a size large but I really love how the rest of this medium fits.

The dress is cute but the proportion is off. For reference. I am petite at 5’ 1”, 110 lbs, 34A. I purchased this dress in XS since other reviews mentioned that it is mostly true to size except for the top part. I didnt think the top would be an issue since I am an A cup. Unfortunately that is not the case. The bottom part fits nicely but I cannot zip the top. Separately, the dress material outside of the white cups is made out of thin fabric and even with two layers, it is still somewhat see-through when I put it up against the light. It seems fine once I tried it on but I wonder if it will be see through if worn in daylight or in a bright room. Also, the material doesn’t have any give (not stretchy). The material does flow really well and accentuate my curves but please do size up. Also the dress is a good length for those of us who are vertically challenged. I could wear heels and do not need to alter. If you are tall, this dress may be too short. I bought this on a good sale and if it had fit, I would consider keeping it. I wouldn’t pay full price; I think the material is somewhat cheap…
