The perfect espadrilles DO exist.
I ordered this shoe in red and taupe. I injured my foot last year, so I have to be extremely careful with choosing shoes. These shoes are comfortable and require zero breaking in. I have a wide foot and this shoe is flattering! It doesn't make me look like a busted can of biscuits. I can wear these shoes to work, take a walk downtown, and still not want to fling them off in frustration at the end of the day.

Very pretty, but unusual fit
I bought these shoes in Latte Nubuck Leather. I ordered both a 9 and a 9 1/2 so I would be sure to get a pair that fit me. The length of the size 9 was just right. They are very pretty shoes. The crossed lines in the front of the ankle are attached elastic, so you slide your foot between the X of the elastic and the backing of the shoe. The tie is cloth - it begins at the back of the ankle and ties in front. The backing part of the shoe that fit around my heel fit well. The heel height is very good. However - the toe box was much too wide and tall for my foot. I could slide my entire hand in the shoe along with my foot. It's kind of an odd sizing, as the back of the shoe fit well around my narrow heel, but the front of the shoe was much too large. Sadly, I had to return these pretty shoes.

A Match Made in Heaven
I wear a size 13M and it is rare to find shoes that I love in my size. I was on the fence about ordering these because of the price point but decided to take a chance anyway. I’m so happy I did because I absolutely love them. Yes, they’re expensive but they appear to be well made and are super comfortable. I purchased them in red and navy. I can’t wait to wear them this spring/summer. I hope this is a sign of more stylish shoes from Nordstrom in size 13 ❤️ I rated the shoes 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price.

Super comfy! Purchased in navy and red colors. Foot bed is amazing. It’s stylish and the ankle strap is perfect! So happy it came in a size 13.
