Cat Eye 1-Step Gel Nail Polish

I was honestly a bit skeptical about how good the result can be but decided to give this a try when it went on limited time sale. I can say I'm very pleasantly surprised! I am completely new to doing cat eye nails and it took me some time to learn how - googled and looked up a bunch of tutorials and it took me a minute to get the hang of using the magnet for getting even just the simplest / basic look. And I'm sure it's still quite some ways from something as professionally beautiful as one done by a skilled and experienced nail artist (and I did not try to use a builder gel to build a dome shape base). But my goal was not to get the best cat eye nails ever; it was to have a satisfactory look with it being a quick and easy DIY at home and this was exactly that. I used the mini lamp of the same brand and followed the instructions: first a thin coat and cure 30s like their normal gel polish; then a second coat which I applied slightly thicker, the without curing use the included magnet to get the desired effect, then another 30s cure. And that's it. I also own the big lamp of the same brand, in which case I believe you will need to cure 60s instead. For some reason though for me personally, with this brand's gel polishes the mini lamp cured nails last longer than that from the larger. Of course try to do all the regular prep steps and tricks that help with gel polish longevity. Overall very happy with the purchase. I got 2 of the 3 shades available because the third one isn't my style. I hope they release more colors in the future.
