Tulip Hem Linen Pants

I debated this purchase because many of the reviews complained about the fit, especially being tight around the calves, so let met me explain what I found to be true about these pants. Out of the packaging they are stiff and hard but new linen can be like that so I wasn’t surprised. I’m 34, 5’2”, my legs are thin/average so when I first tried them on they did feel tighter than expected around the calves. Not super tight but it was quite fitted for a casual pant (and the picture) so it did seem off at first. I wore them around the house and turns out all these pants need is to be broken in a little. I’ve had these pants for a couple weeks now and with every wear they get better. I listed these true to size because it completely depends on the fit you’re looking for once you know it will fit your waist. They’ve always fit but since I’ve worn them in they’ve stretched out a lot. These are baggy on me now but I still like them. It may not be a bad idea to size down if you want a more fitted pant after they stretch and soften. The only reason i didn’t give these a 5 star is because they weren’t perfect out of the box which was ok for me. Overall, it may not have been love at first sight but once we got to know each other it was a perfect match. Haha but honestly, the breathable linen is soft, comfortable, cooling and ideal for summer in Los Angeles.
