Great summer vacay pant
Ok, so do not size down I found mine to be pretty much true to size. I usually wear an xs petite in Caslon and that is what I ordered. I do have to say that they felt a tad snug around the glute and upper leg, but linen tends to loosen up as you wear. Length was perfect for my 5'2". For reference I am 125lbs about 35" lower hip area with muscular thighs. Could definitely wear with some slides or a not too high heal sandal. The waist has a back elastic which doe snot show with the belt.

Nice pants but cheap
I enjoyed wearing these, the fit is flattering, great length and they hang well. However; as I was putting them in the washer for the first time, I saw a strange looking stitching in the rear. It’s a completely different thread color and almost looks hand sewn. As well, a hole is emerging thru it. I’m not even going to waste my time imagining how this came to play in a purchase I made. I’m just glad I caught it, and hope it wasn’t noticed while I was wearing them. Returning them, and not purchasing another.

Not for curvy women
While the gray linen pants were adorable, I found them to be fairly straight throughout the thigh. As I am a curvy woman who normally wears an 8 in curvy cuts, the medium was too tight in the thigh while the large was flooding everywhere. If you have a fairly straight figure, these would look great on you, but curvy women may be disappointed in these. Please make these in a curvy cut so all can enjoy them!

Runs long, uncomfortable linen
Just like what was mentioned in the comments here, the pant leg on these run quite long. The linen fabric is not the softest and the waist band doesn’t have a lot of stretch.
