Eyelet Embroidery Cotton Shirtdress

Every time I wear this dress I get stopped to ask where I bought it! It is so flattering and so feminine. Fits true to size and it's just lovely.

I ordered this in the blue and this brand usually runs large for me...I almost always wear a small or extra small in their dresses, but while the Small in this dress fit waist down, waist up I literally couldn't even get the buttons close to coming together. I would say it's like it's made for two different bodies. Maybe if you have a very skinny waist and flat chest...or try sizing up if you have a larger chest, but I think that will make the bottom too large. Huge miss.

I wanted to love this dress, but unfortunately it was a miss for me. The dress adds a bit of bulk around the waist (which runs small), so it was just an odd fit. The fabric is nice quality, but is on the stiffer side. Keep in mind too that this is fully lined, so it’s two layers of stiff fabric, which just adds bulk to the waist when you tie it with the belt. Might work on soft body types, unfortunately not mine. The blue is a really pretty color though! Sadly this one is going back.

This dress is pretty and fits well on a smaller frame. It was nice to find something not made of polyester! However, it is very wrinkly and nearly impossible to iron. I am hoping after I wash it on delicate and hang it up it won't need ironing.

I always wear a Large in Caslon. Couldn’t even button the top.

This dress is for someone with a very thin waist. I take a size L in Caslon, and had no problem fitting into the top of the dress, contrary to other reviews (and my bust is not small). My waist is smaller than the rest of my body, but the waist in this dress is accentuated, making the dress look like a refrigerator with fullness on the bottom. My dress is very full below the waist, with way more fabric than is needed. My husband told me it looked like I was wearing a bathrobe (and he's not wrong). I tried pinning it up to a shorter length to see if that would help, but it didn't. I wanted to love this, as both the green and pink are gorgeous colors, but the dress just doesn't work for me.
