Comfy!
5’3”, 139 lbs, and these are the most comfortable fit ‘ever’ for a mature body. I enjoy the ‘wiggle’ room. Only wish I had purchased another pair because they are sold out of size 30. Hope they return next year!

"Growing" jeans
A few things against these jeans: 1) they are "growing" jeans. Other reviewers warned against this but I tried them anyway. Yup, they grow. If they fit in the morning, they are too baggy by afternoon. 2) The color in person is much more drab than online. I usually like the faded wash but overall was not fond of these in person.

Cute but become huge
Agree with the other reviewer who said the shorts just wouldn't stop growing. I ordered the smaller of the two sizes I am between. Shorts were adorable on and I was happy. Ripped the tags off and wore them out. By the end of my day, they had stretched out so it looked like I was in someone else's clothing. Crotch hung down inches practically to my knees. Butt was enormous and shapeless. I thought maybe I would be able to restore the size by shrinking them, but the hottest wash cycle and high temp dryer seemed to have no effect. I would order two sizes down from your regular size and wear them for about an hour at home with tags on before you decide to keep. For the same price, there's a pair of Joe's Jeans cuffed denim shorts on sale that are even cuter and stay their proper size all day. (And honestly, the $19 pair I got from target was as cute as these Caskon shorts and had no stretching issues.)

Caslon Mom Jeans
I read about these shorts on a fashion blog. I am a true size 6/28 in jeans. I purchased two sizes (26,27), since other reviews said they run big. The 26 fit me well and was comfortable. For reference I'm 5'4" 145 lbs.

thought they fit until I wore them
I loved these shorts! I washed them and put them on and I thought they were a nice loose but good fit, but halfway into the day, they became huge and stretched out. They look ridiculous. I had already washed and worn them so I couldn't return them, but I am ordering another smaller pair. I was frustrated that they did this and then when I got this e-mail to review them saw that many others also experienced the same thing. Pretty frustrating.

So so close to complete perfection
I chose to buy these shorts even over more 'name brand' options because the wash looked to be better- and they are spot on! Perfect amount of distressing, beautiful wash, so comfortable (I would say you could size down, but I think these look great as a more relaxed fit) The only small problem with these is that due to how the leg cuffs are stitched in place, I have to iron them with every wash or they look a hot-mess. But maybe not everyone would be that particular.
Im considering buying another pair!
