Perfect for my 3 month old's October Baptism!
This was perfect for my son's October baptism - he is almost 3 months old. The cotton was thick but breathable. I was able to put a white onesie on him under it - and you could not see the material or the lines through the romper. It also kept him warm, but was breathable so he did not overheat. The cross embroidery was an occasion-appropriate detail, without being gaudy or overpowering.
The only issues I would point to were totally manageable and worth it to me. There are buttons at the ankles and wrists, as other reviews mention. And at the back collar. Yes, it means it's a little extra work to get everything fastened. But it added a polish that was needed for this special occasion. Also, the peter pan collar did curl a bit on one end - if my son's neck was thicker, it would have been more of an issue. But a quick iron did the trick. If you're concerned about this, consider ordering one size up so the collar can lay flat.

outfit came with colored stains
I ordered this baptism outfit for my three month old son. The outfit fit great however when it was delivered, it had pink stains on it. I proceeded to order another one that one also came with blue stains. I went into Nordstrom. They said there was nothing they can do about it because the item does not ship from their store. I then tried ordering one more and that one also came with stains on it.

Perfect for the occasion
This outfit was perfect - soft cotton was comfortable for baby and didn't have that cheap polyester look that so many baptism outfits have. The cross detail and minimal pleating on the front made it clear that this was a special outfit for the occasion without being obnoxious and cumbersome to baby. Easy enough to get on if you have a baby that can sit up so you can access the back buttons and the leg snaps made for easy diaper changes.

Special outfit for special day
Loved the thickness of the material and the quality of the embroidered cross. Crotch snaps were not heavy duty enough for the material. Would not stay snapped. The fit was perfect.
