Cross Embroidered Christening Romper & Newsboy Cap Set

This was perfect for my son's October baptism - he is almost 3 months old. The cotton was thick but breathable. I was able to put a white onesie on him under it - and you could not see the material or the lines through the romper. It also kept him warm, but was breathable so he did not overheat. The cross embroidery was an occasion-appropriate detail, without being gaudy or overpowering. The only issues I would point to were totally manageable and worth it to me. There are buttons at the ankles and wrists, as other reviews mention. And at the back collar. Yes, it means it's a little extra work to get everything fastened. But it added a polish that was needed for this special occasion. Also, the peter pan collar did curl a bit on one end - if my son's neck was thicker, it would have been more of an issue. But a quick iron did the trick. If you're concerned about this, consider ordering one size up so the collar can lay flat.
