Cannabis Santal Eau de Parfum

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I wore Cannabis Santal for years—until, to my great disappointment, it vanished from Sephora’s shelves. I was never able to replace this unique fragrance, with its captivating, masculine notes. I’m so happy to have finally found it again. Thank you, Fresh, for keeping this precious scent in your catalog and making it available online. I’ll never go without it again.

I wore this scent for years and was sad to see it discontinued. I was nervous to order the relaunch as a lot of reviews said it was different than the OG. It smells the same to my nose, and I’m so happy to have it back! As far as its lasting power, it definitely fades faster than other perfumes, but that’s not a huge concern for me. It lasts a few hours on my wrists. Thanks for bringing it back!

I hated giving this such as low score, as this was my absolute favorite go-to daily fragrance for years. This is NOT the same formulation as the original by any means. Desperate, I have purchased three different bottles (including from Fresh directly, their main NYC store, and even Harrods in Europe) since they reissued hoping to blame it on a bad batch. Unfortunately, latest version does come with a stronger smell of alcohol as you spray it, fragrance notes not as rich, and very little staying power compared to the original. Lost its sense of sophistication and sexiness. Although similar and ok, it simply does not smell the same and seems like the quality took a nosedive. This used to project strongly even after a full day of wearing it on my skin and clothes. Everyone absolutely loved the original, and always turned heads. This version doesn't really even get noticed. Pleeeaaassse bring back the OG formulation. I see so many asking for it too!
