Stylish warmth on avg winter day
Perhaps you are wondering if it’s worth getting a Canada Goose. Well, you will not be disappointed with the quality. This is my second one. My other is a trillium. This one is shorter, jacket length, no longer than the sleeves. No fur. I got the blue brush camo. It a bit darker in person than it looks on website. But still beautiful. Warm enough for average winter day. But not as warm as trillium, which is for serious cold days. This jacket is a little smaller, order up a size only if you plan to layer. It is fine over a shirt. If you can only get one Canada goose, or if you are shopping for your first one, I’d look at Kensington, trillium, or shelburne first. I see this as a good second act for Warmer weather. Super stylish, not poofy, you will not look like a penguin in it. Which is kind of the point. Slim fit, good warmth, well made, true to size, you’ll love it. Your own cocoon of warmth and comfort.

Disappointing look!
I was excited to find this jacket came back in stock in the Torch color and in my size XS. I ordered it immediately and received it promptly. Unfortunately, all the excitement came to an end when I tried on the jacket. I am petite at 5' 2" tall, 105 pounds and have a small chest, small shoulders, and arms. The XS fit but I did not like the look. The design of the jacket made me look like a puffy marshmallow person. The insulated features of the jacket added too much bulk for my petite frame. I also did not like the hood as it was extremely oversized and added too much extra fabric around the back of the neck. The quality of the fabric is great but I just feel the fit and structure of this jacket does not work for me. I did love the hand warmer pockets - a feature the Trillium and Montebello lack. I prefer the Burberry coats as they are more slim fitting and lightweight.

Questionable Sizing
I went to look at the Montebello at my Nordstrom just to check the sizing. They didn't have any Rideau's at all. I'm glad I did! They had 3 smalls and one medium available. I tried on the medium and it was tight in the bust and in the butt, and I didn't even have a sweater on. I wound up ordering a back ordered Rideau in the Large. I'm normally a 28 in jeans and a medium in tops.

Beautiful but way too small
The red color is beautiful and the quality is excellent. The jacket is very bulky and form fitting. I am a size medium but I ordered an X-Large due to the other reviews stating that it ran small so to order a size up. I ordered two sizes up only because I wanted to be able to wear sweaters under the jacket.. Even though I ordered 2 sizes up it was still too tight and I would not have been able to get a sweater on with the coat.

Great Jacket
I got it in black and waiting for the Redwood. Can't wait for it to be cold enough to wear!
