Brutus Mary Jane (Women)

I have been trying to find a comfortable black semi-dressy shoe as my second pair of traveling shoes (first pair being sneakers). This pair is well made and I like the non slip sole. They have a chunky look, but they’re cut. I wear a size 8. Sometimes a 38 fits me, sometimes a 39. I ordered these in 38 and they were too small. I decided they weren’t going to be the right shoe for travel unless I had a lot of time to break them in, as the leather is quite stiff.

I liked the look of these shoes. They are cute and comfortable. The only issue is that I normally wear a size 8 1/2 and that’s the size I ordered. They are slightly too large but since they don’t come in the 1/2 size smaller I would need, I’m going to keep them. Since I bought them to wear this fall and winter, tights should make them fit better. I love the lug soles and feel that they will do well during the snow and ice this winter.
