Great fit and comfortable
I was worried reading other reviews that the ankle would be tight, but I found the ankle to be roomy on my ankles. I would have prefer them tighter; I can slip three fingers in the top without touching. For reference, I'm 6 feet tall and athletic/solid build with narrow feet. The boot fit great in toe box and slightly loose in heel, but with socks, they did not slip while walking. They are quite comfortable. These will be perfect for the wet fall and winter weather in Rotterdam and my typical 20000 step days. I'm not sure if I'd wear them with a dress, but they look great with ankle length pants, floor length pants, wide leg jeans...very versatile. I'm not a fan of gold tone hardware, but the zipper does not show much being on the inside of the ankle.

Not as elevated in person
These boots aren’t the elevated look I was going for. The backing is like a scuba so it’s super comfortable but looks too casual with the leather front. The gold zipper is in the inside so you don’t even get to see the detail. Will be returning. I’d say runs slightly larger, the cushioning at the bottom was nice! Good traction. Not what I was looking for!

Not waterproof
The style of the boots is classic Chelsea with lug soles. Unfortunately, they’re not waterproof as advertised. The first and only time I wore them there was slush on the ground. My feet were instantly wet at the toes and remained damp until I could remove the boots. If you don’t need them to be waterproof, they’re fine. They ran slightly large and wide for me so I sized down.

NICE BUT NOT GREAT
Recently moved to the PNW so I am on the hunt for a cute boot that is waterproof and will go with a lot of my girlfriend/skinny jeans. I like this boot but when I wear a fairly thin sock, the top of the boot is tight and the heel is a bit big. There would be no way I could wear a slightly thicker sock to help with the heel. Sadly, I am returning and will continue my hunt for a great waterproof boot.
