Medium Pensamiento Tote

This is a beautiful, bright and understated bag. The style is pretty basic, but the artestry and craftsmenship/craftswomenship is absolutely stunning. The macrame covering is hand made of high quality threads, a rare find in today's fast and machine based fashion industry. At a quick glance the bag may look like so many others, but it catches ones attention because of it's beauty, brightness and uniqueness. I was able to purchase this bag on sale. I am so glad I did.

A lovely neutral summer tote; works well with dresses and casual wear. The workmanship is excellent and it's nice to find an ethically sustainable brand. Macramé is a bit delicate with some sheen and being fully lined in suede, the tote is rather stiff to carry so not the best beach bag. The Cons, packaging is surprisingly excessive; the shipping box 22"x17"x6" was 9 lbs, while the tote is 10"x12". The tote arrived (without foam or plastic fillers) in a large 2-piece black woven-basket, which will be finding useful repurposing (unnecessary built-in cost factor as well) simply use the fabric handbag protector enclosed. Customers might not recycle the baskets (too big for most closet space). I hope environmentally friendly minimal packaging & extra costs will be reconsidered. I wish to support Camila Mesar’s brand.
