Kaya Faux Leather Round Backpack

I had high hopes for this bag, however I was disappointed immediately upon receiving it. The lining is loose, there were loose threads in and on the bag that I needed to trim. This isn't something you'd expect from a bag this price. On top of that, I have had it for less than 3 months and have used it for 1 trip and tried to use it as a work bag for a couple of weeks and the straps have already started to wear to the point of splitting and ripping. I've had to stop using it altogether. I wasn't putting too much weight in it - mainly just my snacks and some notebooks, but even that seems to be too much weight for this bag. The price tag isn't worth this poorly made bag.

Let's start with the pros. This bag is such a beautiful color and so fashion forward! I love that my Surface Pro 6 fits well. This bag also sits well on my back, which not many do. Cons: The zipper doesn't open all the way and this makes it very difficult to get items in and out of the bag. Bag is pretty stiff but perhaps because I've only had it less than a month. Also the lining inside the bag is loose which can get annoying. If you place too many items in the front compartment and some on the inside pocket, good luck getting anything else in. What I've done is place everything in small cosmetic bags to make my items more accessible. So I carry my Surface, travel size baby wipes, a diaper or two, two small cosmetic bags, journal, small wallet, phone, keys and other small accessories. Also, I started using after Christmas, so two weeks now, and some stitching is coming undone. I'll attach pics. Honestly I wont order another one once this one gets too used, but I will enjoy it in the meantime!

Classic backpack style, this bag has plenty of interior room, and two interior as well as three exterior pockets. The faux leather has a slight cross-hatch pattern. The leather-like material is stiff, and seems sturdy; I hope it becomes a bit more flexible. The beige color lining makes it easy to find your belongings. All in all, it’s a smart purchase.

I had a little Herschel bag I used for travel this summer and it was great, but I need something more professional looking for work. This bag is perfect. It's very lightweight and fits a ton of stuff; I love the outside side pockets for my phone and work ID. And I can use it when I'm travelling again because it has a back sleeve so it can slide onto the hand of wheeled luggage. I've gotten so many compliments on it. I have 2 issues: 1. It has a slightly chemically smell (I think because it's not leather), but it has faded with time. 2. I wish the interior zippered pocket was a little shallower so that it was easier to grab things.
