Material is too elastics
I will suggest to downsize — or go from wider to normal width —the elastic fabric is confortable but it does not provide a proper holding on the foot the shoe comes lose with every step- if they change fabric and lesser the elasticity it may work — maybe the shoe will be good for a person that don’t walk much or is in a wheelchair chair — as a sleeper — but for active walking is not a good option

These shoes fit me well and were my go to shoes most of the time. I took them on my honeymoon to Jamaica. We experienced living through Melissa Cat 5 hurricane.
