Rose of No Man's Land Hair Perfume

I didn’t find the scent of this spray particularly impressive; it’s kind of a powdery rose that resembles a hairspray or dry shampoo scent. I ordered it based on reviews and I returned it earlier today because I’m certain I’ll never use it and wanted to share with you what I know now. I do think Mojave Ghost is a better one if you’re looking for a little more oomph ;)

I love hair perfumes and thought I would try this as I really like Byredo scents. This is a modern fresh floral that isn’t overwhelmingly rose. The lovely thing about hair perfume is that the wearer gets a “refresh” every time they shake their head, instead of becoming so used to the scent they no longer smell it. A little expensive but a delight to use, especially in the summer.

I bought this as I was after a hair perfume. This had a lot of good reviews and I thought I have to buy it. Must say, I don’t get the hype. I love the smell of roses and honestly this doesn’t smell like lovely fresh roses. It’s just a really weird smell. You get a waft a weird rose smell infused with other stuff, I honestly can’t explain it. I bought this during the lockdown. I wish I waited for stores to open and actually smelt it myself in the store! Smell is so subjective and I went off the good reviews. Just such a waste of money for me.

I love these hair perfumes. I first tried Mojave Ghost after receiving a mini in a beauty gift. I bought the full size of that and then decided to try a different scent. If you have very greasy hair then don’t expect the product to be like a dry shampoo and absorb the grease as it won’t. But it will add shine and a glorious smell. I wash my hair every other day and use these perfumes on the in between days. Lost one star as it’s a bit overpriced.
