What it is: A lipstick that delivers sumptuous levels of color saturation to your lips while gliding on with ease.
What it does: The gliding, one-stroke application provides full-color coverage with ease and precision, delivering a velvety, nonbleed finish that lasts the distance. A synergy of waves, silica and bamboo stem give the lipstick a perfect matte finish while keeping lips comfortable. The lipstick is housed in Byredo's signature curvilinear bicolor metal casing that's inspired by bamboo. The weight and precision of the case are utilized to feel good in the hand. The slim stick contained within is sealed with a satisfying magnetic click.
How to use: Apply the lipstick directly to your lips. You can also use a lip brush. For a softer blurred look, apply the color onto your finger and gently tap onto your lips.

Keep it close at hand
A wee bit hesitant to spend so much on a lipstick but threw caution to the wind and hit order. No regrets. Very moisturizing, unique shade, ( earth dust ) and neutral in tone to play nice;y with most blusher and eye shadow shades. The unique packaging is the icing. There is a scent if that sort of thing is important to you.

This is about Earth Dust, smells like old makeup
It looks a little more pink and juicy in photos and videos but it is a bit brown in person. My problem is that it smells like the older lipstick you let roll around at the bottom of your purse for half a century so it has a slight old makeup scent and a slight old perfume scent, and it is just not fading away as I wear it. Unfortunately, I ordered Solid Ground last night without thinking and when I get it in the mail I will have to see if they all smell this way and if I can tolerate it throughout the day. Just why?

The Perfect Lipstick
I've been looking for a lipstick exactly like this forever. I followed the recommendation from a beauty sight on Instagram, and I'm sooo glad I did. This shade, feverish, looks nothing like this picture. It is a pinkish-peach with a little glow, long lasting, cruelty free. The perfect neutral go with everything shade for me. My skin tone is neutral, hazel eyes, blonde hair. I was skeptical because of the price at first, but I am a believer now!

Commuter is perfect!
