Yes, this is a lot of money for a shadow stick. But, the pros far exceed the cost and you really get your money's worth out of every application. 1) The colors are highly pigmented and truly versatile. Some of the colors are glittery (too glittery imo, I'm looking at you, Misty Rock) but most are highly wearable and can be worn as shadow or liner. 2) The creamy consistency glides right on, straight from the stick or when used with a liner brush. You get about 60 seconds before it sets and when it does, it's there for the long haul. It simply does not fade, will not transfer to the crease or smear even without primer. I fell asleep once with this on and it was perfect in the morning. That's a full 24 hours of wear without budging. 3) This product does not dry out, has very good packaging that will not expose it to air, so it will last a whole year or longer. A little goes such a long way that even when used every day as a liner, one of these lasts me a whole year. To me, that's a good value instead of buying several $18-20 pencils per year. Tip: If you're finding blacks too harsh but browns not enough definition for you, try out the Perfect Brown. It really is just that. It's got a slight sheen to it, but no shimmer and it's got a neutral base that is dark enough to define without being unflattering to lighter or aging skin that can no longer take a black liner.
