What it is: An elegant scent created in collaboration with perfumer Frank Voelkl that recreates the tasting of gin on the rocks with a splash of lime.
Fragrance story: Roses on Ice opens with the aquatic freshness of cucumber and the aromatic uplift of juniper berries, creating an icy sensation, rounded in an accord with voluptuous rose centifolia. Upon a drydown of sandalwood and musk, the scent expresses the sharp yet deeply infused character of gin consumed in its ideal. The Liquors collection pays tribute to Kilian Hennessy's heritage as an heir to the renowned French cognac-making family, and to his choice olfactory intoxicants for driving the night toward dawn. The weighted glass bottle engraved with the emblematic K motif to throw and catch light at all angles is refillable, making it a piece of art meant to last a lifetime.

Greasy Cucumber
This perfume was a blind buy. First let me state that Angel’s Share is my favorite scent of all time. Based on that purchase, I bought Roses on Ice. It smells aquatic in a fishy manner. The smell is repulsive. My friend described it perfectly, “Greasy cucumber”.

Not for me
I was given this as a gift with purchase and probably not i would have chosen given the ingredients as im not a rose fan. Ive sampled some of their other fragrances and the cellar perfumes are more to my taste. This one i wasnt so keen on as on my skin it was a light rose fragrance. Altho the cucumber keeps it from being too cloying ….the sandalwood doesnt really add anything to it.

Wonderful summer fragrance
Kilian Paris Roses on Ice Eau de Parfum is a wonderful light summer fragrance. It's a really original scent which has received lots of compliments. I love the stunning art deco bottle which looks beautiful on my dressing table. It's long lasting and fresh with wonderful rose scent.

I absolutely love Kilian Paris Roses on Ice Eau de Parfum. It’s a refreshing, airy fragrance that feels perfect for spring and summer. The cucumber and juniper berry top notes are invigorating, while the heart of centifolia rose adds a delicate floral touch. The sandalwood and musk base creates a lovely depth. My mother loves this
We got her this as an early Christmas gift. She LOVES IT! She said it does not smell artifical like so many rosy perfumes. She is in love. I made the mistake of letting her smell my Kilian's...she has a list now. LOL!
