soft leather
I bought these because I wanted a flat boot, and I need a square toe for more room. I normally take 7 1/2 but had to order the 8, so I have a bit of space at the end but it still looks OK. Quite comfortable, it does rub a bit at the top on my shin when I walk, because the opening is narrow, and I have very thin legs. They are expensive but I bought them because it is hard to get a square toe and soft leather.

Dress Boot
This soft and shoe- like boot is comfortable and elegant. It’s dressy and I would recommend wearing a thin knee high sock or tights/panty hose with it. It’s not a rain boot or wet winter weather type or boot.
It looks great under pants and is very comfortable to walk in. I want to wear it for a long time so I had a shoe maker add a thin rubber layer to the leather sole.
I bought both size 8 & 9 as I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 but theses boots only came in full sizes. They should add 1/2 sizes to the line.
