Butter Luxe Column Maxi Skirt

I was expecting more of a true luxe fabric for the price. When I opened it it was like something cheap from Amazon. The fit is bizarre. It’s cut to be really high wasted, above the belly button by several inches. The hips jut way outward which is odd given its very stretchy, the seams are unfinished inside and are itchy, the waist is small and hips too big. The skirt was also too long for me. I’m 5’7” thin but with curves.

I wanted something luxe, chic, and skimming for an upcoming tour where I need concert black. I'm fairly straight up and down, but a talll size 10. By their measurements, I'm a medium, but this was far too small, with a cutting waist elastic, and just looked like basic shapewear. Nothing chic looking, and certainly nothing warranting this price point. The one upside was that it would have been the length I wanted--nearly to the floor. Very glad I bought it at Nordstrom with free returns vs their website.
