'Sara' Riding Boot

After reading the reviews,I was looking forward to receiving them and they did not disappoint. I ordered the tan, and wasn't sure why they were called "tan", but the picture looked like a color I would love. These are boots that I wil use a lot. I do wish however that the sole was not rubber, but none the less,I am liking the way they fit, especially with my jeans tucked in.

These were a gift so I can't personally comment on the fit, other than to say the recipient says they are very comfortable. She typically wears a size 8 (U.S.) and size 38 boot fits fine. She says she wouldn't want to wear thick heavy socks with them but the boots have enough wiggle room with thinner socks. The leather is soft and supple. The corset on the back of the calf can be adjusted to make it tighter or looser. One thing worth mentioning is the color. We ordered the tan, and I'd say they are brown. We actually thought maybe the wrong color boots were sent, but once we compared them to the enlarged website picture, you could see they matched what was on the website. Neither of us would have considered this color 'tan", "British tan" or "luggage", as they are clearly medium brown. It's because of the misrepresented color is the reason for a 4 star vs. a five star.

This is a really nice boot. The leather is soft and shiny. Unfortunately I returned the boot because the shaft was too wide. There aren't any options to choose a narrower shaft. Bummer. I would have kept the boots otherwise.

I just found these on the Nordstrom site and will be ordering my second pair NOW! I have a pair of the black I purchased two years ago and I LOVE them! So comfortable, super cute with the lace up back and they fit my larger calf. Now to decide between the rust and the tan....

I have been searching for comfortable black riding boots for what seems like forever. I am short 5"2, and stocky (thanks, Dad). I have chubby calves. But wide shaft boots are always too wide at the top. And forget about regular shaft. These are perfect! The have a separate piece at the back (sort of like a tongue in a shoe) and ties which allows you to adjust these for a more exact fit. The leather is beautiful and the fit is perfect for me! They are classy, but with a bit of an edge. Absolutely adore them and wish I could afford another pair in brown!
