Fragrance story: A rich, warming accord with top notes of aromatic cut wood from fir balsam and Himalayan juniper, freshly gathered on a glowing hearth of herbal sage, smoky cade and burning woods. Enhanced by enticing tonalites of embers, warm patchouli mist and cedarwood.

The smell was nice but really really strong.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell of 2 of the 3 candles I received was nice but they were so strong that I could smell the scent in my nose for close to 24 hours after. This is why I chose to return this item.

The perfect candle for every season.

Absolutely No Smell
The smells incredible if you stick your nose in the jar, but that's where the power of this candle ends. Has no throw and doesn't scent one small room even slightly. Every once in a while, I catch a passing whiff of it 5-10 minutes after I blow it out. But otherwise, this is a completely scentless candle and not worth the money.

Great Scent Profile - Moderate Scent Throw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fragrance is great for fall and the candle burns evenly. I appreciate the 18oz jar. The only downside is the scent throw is moderate and won’t fill up a small room with fragrance. Would not repurchase…

Finally In Large Jar format
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Burning Woods is one of my all-time favorite Voluspa fragrances, imbued with a smoky, woody vibe which is reminiscent of sitting by a cozy fireplace. It's honestly lovely, masculine, comforting, deep. And now that it's available in the large jar format, I no longer have to bother with the 3-wick tin or the classic candle sizes.
