Smethwick Archive Logo Quilted Down Puffer Coat

I got this in the navy and loved the way it looked and felt. Unfortunately they didn't have size Medium so I ordered one size up and it was too large. For reference I am 5'7' and weigh 135. The navy color was a nice blue and I liked the cut of the jacket. I am giving it four stars instead of five only because they didn't have my size

I typically fit size 10-12. I purchased both L & XL. The L fit but I am not sure I could wear a thick sweater under it. The XL had too much room. I was hoping it would totally cover my bottom but it fits like the model. I got it at sale 30% off and was main incentive for the purchase. However there is nothing special about it. The material is good but you can find the same quality polyester in products made by other non high end designers. The filling is moderate weight - not too heavy but also not too light. Likely to provide warmth without being overly stuffy. This is a plus for the moderate climate where I live (Northern Virginia ). I am looking for moderate weight down filling without feeling weighed down and this met that criteria. While the logo is not loud it is visible but I don’t like brand advertisement on my clothing. The quality of a product should be easily recognizable and speak for itself. For the price point, even at discount, I expected a little more than the product gave. Subsequently, I returned both sizes because I needed a slightly longer length and did not want the logo on the exterior and while it was expensive it did not give that impression.
