Size up if you want to wear w/ thicker sweaters
This is a very fitted trench coat. It's so beautiful and you will look so polished if it's buttoned up due to the slim fit. However, the sizing runs small. I am an 8 US in this coat, a 6 US in the Kensington and this sz 8 is not roomy enough for me. Shoulders aren't relaxed so if you want to wear a thicker sweater or you want free movement on your shoulders/armpit when you reach for something or when you put your arms up, size up. I live in California where we really don't need thick sweaters so I can use this with just a top or a cashmere sweater underneath.

Beautiful quality jacket but too tight in the shoulders, even on my small frame. Size at least 1 size up, or 2 sizes up if you want to layer with sweater underneath. Removed 1 star for not not fitting true to size.

great trench coat
I absolutely love my trench coat , it does run small but I would personally say its slightly tighter then regular size in this particular size I do wear size 4 or 6 and I got this one in size 8 and still got plenty room for a light sweater underneath,for reference I’m 4”11 , short torso , I usually wear 36b or 34b , besides size this coat it’s beautiful due to the slim fit size.
