Lightweight Hooded Jacket

I am 34 DD. 40’ hips. Size 8/10. 152 lb. Size 6 fits with some room. I sized down based on the previous reviews. Classic beige color that I love. The coat runs large. The body is unlined. The hood is lined with the plaid pattern. It gets dirty easily-around the wrist etc. This is my third Burberry coat. I have two diamond quilted ones (waist-length and mid-thigh). I definitely like those two better. This is a very lightweight coat. I kept it, for travel since it has a hood. I would not recommend it though. It isn’t worth the price. I would get the diamond quilted ones, which are heavier and justifies the cost:

If you really want to see what this jacket looks like, check the Burberry website for a more accurate image. The color “soft fawn” is not as light as shown here. The description of this jacket being relaxed fit is no joke. This could be considered too baggy by some. Front snap-flap pockets are roomy for wallet, phone, etc., which I sometimes like if I run errands and don’t want to carry a bag.

I love the oversize style and the weight is perfect for in-between seasons. No need for an umbrella with a sizable hood when you forgot one! The iconic Burberry pattern in the hood is a nice touch. You can cinch the waist if you want a fitted look. It’s perfect for my commute to work when it’s always cooler than when I step outside my front door.

Jacket is great, looks exactly like the picture and is slightly larger since there is an adjustable feature to the jacket. What I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed about is with the quality of Nordstrom’s shipping. This jacket arrived in a damaged Nordstrom shipping bag. You would think that Nordstrom would take the time to wrap and ship the jacket in a box and not just a plastic bag. Horrible presentation and bag was torn but item wasn’t damaged since there was a second plastic bag. This is the third time, I’ve purchased a Burberry jacket/poncho item and it has been shipped without care in another plastic bag and not boxed.
