'Bosdale' Quilted Coat with Detachable Hood

I bought coat in Medium Black. I found that it ran true to size so I did NOT need to size up as I usually wear a size 8. I had also ordered the coat in the burgundy but returned as I liked the black better. The burgundy was more or a rust than a wine so I went for the black which will go with everything. Bought a similar jacket by NorthFace but it did not come close to this Burberry coat with the fit!!!! Yes, this coat is pricey even on sale but worth it for the fit and quality!!!

This is a beautiful and functional jacket to own and the Anniversary sale price is an added bonus. The jacket is light-weight, but will be warm enough for mild winters. The interior drawstring gives the coat more shape and flattering lines. I purchased the deep burgundy colored jacket which will add variety to my personal coat collection which consist of mostly blacks. The jacket fits true to size. The only negative point is, it doesn't have an inside pocket for your cell phone, etc., and I wish it had the Burberry lining on the underside of the collar like one of my other Burberry coats.

I went to the anniversary sale for shoes with my friend who wanted to peek upstairs. While she was "peeking" I found this fabulous coat and tried it on. I initially was going for black but spotted the mink. I have red hair and the coat takes on a greenish hue which I loved so I went with that one. I smuggled it into the house and the next am while admiring it in my closet mirror my husband came in and was very complimentary. I told him the cost and he said "worth every penny". That in itself is a testomony girls! It's figure flattering and the collar is great. It is so functional for such a good looking coat. I got the large (I wear a 10) and it is a perfect fit. A classic that I will have for years! So excited!!!

I ordered this half thinking I'd return it - online, it looks very busy with stitching going every which direction. But it arrived today and I absolutely love it! I got it in black and the lines are flattering. It gives definition to the figure. I took the website's suggestion and went up a size. The fabric feels substantial with great stand up collar, long enough to cover the rear end and a good weight to it. Except for when polar vortex hits in the east coast, I think I can very well wear this all through fall and winter. I have Burberry quited jackets that are more than 8 years old (this coat feels warmer than those jackets). It costs more than other brands but I think this will be my staple for the next few years. Well worth it!
