Now that I've received my order I can see that the Surf collection is designed for men. It smells like the old Tommy HF cologne- horrible! It smells slightly ocean like, but with a rotten undertone. It adds no body or volume and it weighs my hair down & makes it sticky & straw-like and my hair isn't dry to begin with. I spent a small fortune on this line & I'm very disappointed. :(

Lightweight moisture and shine
With weightless moisture and shine, my hair is prepped for air-dry styles. Despite the 'Beachy' waves and salt scent, this conditioner imparts natural glossiness, not a matte finish, with natural bounce. The scent is light, fresh, and gender-neutral. During the summer, I use it regularly; however, I apply a richer conditioner or mask to my ends because, over time, I find it does not have enough moisturizing oomph.

Works wonders on my fine, straight hair
Along with the Surf shampoo, this line gives my fine, straight, short hair a lot of body and volume without weighing it down, and it stays looking and feeling full all day.

Lovely for fine hair
For my thick, dry hair this was not great (predictably!) but for my daughter's fine, wavy hair this was lovely. It is somewhat moisturising and definitely enhances curl and body, only a little product was needed. Ideal for beach, summery hair. The fresh beachy scent is really nice.

Love love love love love
I cannot get enough of the surf shampoo/conditioner combo. I have long, extremely straight, thin, lifeless hair (naturally). I've bought dozens of products to try and put some texture and life into my hair and nothing ever worked. Until these! I swear, they have changed my hair game. I use the shampoo and conditioner and follow up with Bb grooming creme and the don't blow it hair stylers. I scrunch and twist and let air dry. OH MY GOD. My hair has tons of volume, life, and texture. It evens brings out some natural wave, or maybe it's creating it, unsure really. But as someone who has always dreamed of having little waves and texture in my hair, it's amazing. If I go one shower without using these, my hair is back to being thin and lifeless. It's wild. It really does work for me. I used to be a daily washer, too, and now I can go a few days between washings. Plus, the second day hair with this is beautiful and full of body and texture. I can't necessarily afford to keep using this but it works so well and is such a big confidence boost, I don't see myself going without it unless I find a cheaper competitor. I doubt I'll find anything that works better, tbh. My only "issue" is that it's kinda harder to brush my hair out after showering than it was with other shampoo/conditioners. It must be whatever is in there that is adding all of the texture to my hair? It doesn't bother me much, and is a tiny price to pay for such rockin hair. Just get a good detangling spray if you lack the patience. It really doesn't bother me much at all. Just try it out! PS: PLZ MAKE A BIGGER SIZE!!!!!!
