Lynx Complete Stroller

Take this with a grain of salt because Emm newborn isn’t here here yet and I only have a 3yo: went to Nordstrom to test out Cruz/Vista and saw the Bugaboo - after one brief push around the kids section, we decided it was SO smooth that we had to have it for our baby coming this October. (We didn’t fold it or anything. Yeah, I know. Rookie mistake). Lynx arrived last week and I excitedly put it together, quickly realizing the hasty mistake I made. It is the smoothest stroller for sure and you can push it with one finger, but that is basically where the appeal ends for me. This thing takes way too many steps and fingers to fold (it’s a four finger fold) and once it is folded, it still looks huge. Also don’t like that there isn’t a locking mechanism. Changing the toddler seat to forward/parent facing is also unnecessarily complicated - the buttons aren’t as smooth as some other strollers. Also really did not like that the toddler footrest is not adjustable; in parent facing mode, this makes the seat stick out too much for my 3 year old son who would be on the comfort wheeled board. Additionally, the recline takes both hands vs the ability to just push a button. I will say that the shoulder straps sticking out when not buckled is a nice touch - but the buckle itself I found to look/feel cheap. Finally, my three year old climbed onto his comfort wheel board and I was surprised with how much the toddler seat bounced around as he did this - I now know it’s because it is mostly plastic internal parts (contributes to the lightness overall but also contributes to the cheap feeling. Plus it didn’t matter to me really how light it was since the cumbersome fold still made it clunky to load into my car. I thought this brand was supposed to be one of the best but I ended up exchanging today for an Uppababy (also not perfect, but to me has far fewer cons than the Lynx). I will say I ended up keeping the Bugaboo stroller organizer and cup holder (compatible with UB!) and was overall very impressed with all the Bugaboo accessories/ads-ons I had purchased. Anyway, whatever you do, don’t do what I did and make sure you actually go in store (if able) to test out/fold/etc all the strollers. Just happy I purchased this at Nordstrom so the exchange was seamless.

I really love how well this stroller maneuvers but it is so hard to open and close it :( wanted to keep it but will be returning because it also takes up a LOT of room in my car. It’s very roomy for baby to grow into but I get exhausted just trying to get it in and out of my car and so frustrating to try to open and close it with those side buttons.

Purchased this stroller because of the durability and light weight. Unfortunately the release buttons to open and close the stroller are awful. Bugaboo missed the mark not doing a one handed release or at least something easier than having to push in 2 small buttons just so in order to pull the triggers. We’ve only used this stroller with our nuna turtle car seat since our little one is still too small.

We're glad we bought the Bugaboo Lynx stroller for our grandbaby - it's actually the best out there amongst other brand! It's super sturdy, easy to maneuver, beautiful and above all SAFE! Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy their first baby stroller! The only downside, the assembly was complicated, but you can watch YouTube assembly of the Bugaboo stroller and it's easy!

I just had baby #4 and chose the Lynx because I love bugaboo. This is my third bugaboo stroller. I love how compact this model is and the price was right. The new extended canopy is excellent. I gave it 4 stars because unlike my other bugaboo models, the bassinet on this stroller is not safe for overnight sleep and I wish the stroller came with a clear rain cover (my other models did). I also wish there was a way to lock the frame when it is closed. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Love the look of this stroller and the lightweight maneuverability of it. I would recommend it to any mom. Putting it together is a bit challenging, but once its all set up - it is great!
