Pretty Color, but has GLITTER. Ugh!
WHY MAC? Ditch the glitter in your highlighters. Teens & young adults may prefer glitter highlighters, but not mature adults. Release products to your target age & income market. Otherwise this is a beautiful color with beautiful packaging. I don't want a glitter all over my face. That's exactly where this highlight will end up.

Annual Highlighter Color ATP
Out of the many show gold variations (lol) this highlighter is a special occasion version of Show Gold. In comparison, this highlighter has more gold (peach on some) reflection but its exactly the same tone and color with way more loose glitters.I would consider this a special occasion highlighter due to the vast amount of sparkles. It is a less gold version of snow flushed from holiday 2018, but again, more gold than Show Gold. Petallic Metallic (spring 2022) is the only show gold variation that's different from this highlighter because its show gold with lavender sparkles. In conclusion, its beautiful, but less wearable (for everyday) than the previous versions due to the glitter. Its around 30 percent shiny and 70 percent glittery.

Pretty Color
When I saw this online, I was curious to see how it looked in person. When I got to the MAC store, the MAC artist was putting on the customer. It looked really pretty. I did end up getting it online and am happy with it. I guess, the lighting makes a difference. I thought it was a different color (more melon), but it comes off pinker on me. It is glittery, but still very nice to wear. I would like to see it come in other colors in future collections.

Far too glittery
I was not expecting the glittery effect to this - I thought from the pictures it was meant to be a subtle shimmer. Maybe that is my misunderstanding but it doesn't work for me. The packaging is very pretty though.
