Not a traditional espadrille.
This is a beautiful 'shoe' but not suitable for everday/everywhere as with most traditional espadrilles. The cream-colored leather is elegant and very lovely for warm weather climes and the neutral-tones elasticized trim at the heel ensures a comfortable fit. I returned the shoe to find something more casual and suitable for everyday use.
