Light, fast, and good traction
Feel light and fast with enough traction to feel steady on the trails. These worked really well for me in a 7-mile trail race. I also like that you can feel the ground a little more in these (though not too much) which took me a couple runs to get used to.

Admittedly, I tie my running shoes once and then slip them on and off. Never had a problem with any other shoes, but the cushion in the heal now is pushed down making it uncomfortable to run in. Doesn't appear to have the same level of build strength as other shoes. I've had a pair of cascadia's for 8 years that handled any abuse I through at them.

Maybe a bad pair
The shoe didn't feel right underfoot and I think the "sky vault" plate in the right shoe was damaged somehow as it foot bed felt odd. I ended up returning them. I ran in the original Catamount and enjoyed them. I was hoping to love these, but it just didn't feel right.

Narrow toe box
Nice looking shoes but the toe box was much narrower than the same size in adrenaline shoes so had to return

Great shoe, the stability of the upper half of shoe is great. Lots of support the top half of the shoe moves with the tread. I’ve been training for Telluride Mtn run , and will use catamounts. No rub issues, good in technical terrain. The only reason it got a 3 is it the worst color combination for trail shoe. Trail shoe should never have a white outsole and the sparkles are a real turnoff along with the baby blue pansy color. This would actually keep me from buying shoe, unless on sale. The color is extremely annoying to me , looks more like a parade shoe than a trail shoes. Function of shoe very good! Unfortunately the color and new color are horrible. I will go with the Topo transition or pursuit instead of Brooks due to non trail like annoying colors!!
