Brooklyn 39 Loved Leather Shoulder Bag

I’d wanted a Brooklyn as soon as I saw one on the runway but decided I had to have one after I saw the Loved Leather finish. I’ve been carrying smaller handbags lately and, even though it was the one I was drawn to, I was somewhat worried the 39 would be too big. Here to say it’s perfect!!! Fits perfectly around my shoulder, has good structure without being bulky, and works great as an everyday bag. I have a small pouch inside to corral my beauty items and the inside pocket fits a few fast grab things like tissue, keys and such, as well as an iPhone Max with room to spare. This weighs so much less than my other handbags so it’s already a relief to my shoulder even with a few extra items. I was able to toss in a bottle of water, hat, gloves, and reusable shopping bags for running errands without adding any extra bulk, which is a huge win. I also had concerns it would slide down my arm if I didn’t hang on but I haven’t had any issues so far. The charms are so much fun and add some subtle quirkiness without overt branding. But it’s definitely the glove-tanned finish that steals the show. I’m notoriously hard on my handbags but this style will only look better with age. Also gives more versatility than a straight black or brown bag without color blocking or contrast sections. It’s just effortless and looks amazing! Getting compliments everywhere I go! I already ordered the Leah loafers in Loved Leather and am eyeing the Empire. COACH has gotten so good under Stuart Vevers’s creative direction. Looking forward to carrying this for years!
