In LOVE!

I have searched high and low for the perfect riding boot! Not only is it a riding style, the toe offers a cowboy look too! Very sexy, very comfortable....best. Boot. Ever! Being a size 12, it is difficult to find a perfect fit because my foot is long and slender, fits like a glove. Beautiful design, the distressed leather is perfect, offering the subtle blacks, browns, and reds in one style is genius!

Low quality leather

These seem like they could be comfortable boots. Sadly, the leather is neither smooth and crisp, nor aged and soft. Instead, it's wrinkled, stiff, and very low quality. I have thin calves, but the leather pinched--mostly because it bends in funny creases and hurts. Shape-wise, the toe is cut much more western (cowboy boot style) and pointed than I expected. These are going back. Sad, since the heel height is good and the soles seem comfortable. Born usually does better. I'll keep looking.

Poor leather

I was very surprised at the poor quality of the leather. The leather is thin and crackly, and it makes the shaft of the boot much less comfortable. I own the Born Josie boot, and the quality of that leather is much, much better. This boot is going back.

I do not like this boots at all, not only it look ugly also not comfortable, so I return it.

Awful color

Sorry but these went back. It was a mottled brown/black that looked terrible. Everything else was fine but the color was not something I would wear.

Yuck!

Absolutely the ugliest pair of boots I have ever laid my eyes on. Unless these boots were free, you're paying way too much for them. The material is SUPER cheap looking and is extremely wrinkly and not flattering AT ALL. As soon as I took them out of the box I knew they were going back. There was no point in even trying them on but I did anyways and though I am usually a 6.5 (which is the size I ordered) they were too small. Unless you're going for a paper mache look for your boots, these are not for you.

Wanted to love these

I was very excited to get these. I ordered a half size smaller, as recommended. They were very tight when I first put them on, but loosened up after wearing them around the house a couple times and fit great. I noticed the first time I put them on there were a couple nicks in the leather on the foot. After they loosened up and I decided I'd keep them, I rubbed them down with some mink oil to condition the leather so the cracks wouldn't get worse. However, when I was rubbing the oil off, the leather by one of the buckles tore! I wasn't even buffing hard! I don't know if I just got a bad pair, but I am so dissapointed. Needless to say they will be going back. So sad. They are very cute and I expected more from BORN.
