I tried this hat on in store Aug 2019, went home & ordered it a couple weeks later. I got a size M which was to big & I sent back. I finally was able to purchase in a S after Christmas & absolutely love it! Wore it last wknd & got a ton of compliments. Not everyone looks good in hats but this one is easy to pull off! Can’t wait to wear it all Soring!

I have always admired women who pull off these types of hats but my head it usually too small to wear adult sized hats. After years of looking with no luck, I gave up. Then, I became one of those women who must keep my head/face out of the sun and the hat search began, again. I paid a fortune for a gorgeous sun hat (because it actually fit me). I adored the compliments I got but fretted over the damage almost daily wear was taking on such a pricey item. When I needed something for the fall, I figured I'd have to shell out a ton of money, again...But then I found this hat! I did measure my head because these come in actual sizes (I ordered a small) and I was thrilled to find the size adjuster hiding between the inner band of the hat and the felt...I could wear it as it was but I would have had to be extremely careful of the wind. One tiny adjustment made this hat fit like a dream! The classic design of this hat also means it goes with pretty much everything. I chose the leather band because I lead a more coastal/country lifestyle and I chose the brown color because I am fair-haired and have light eyes. My sunglasses aren't an issue underneath this hat, either, which is important since I wear this hat more over my brow than on the back of my head because I'm intending to keep the sun off of my face. So...I'll say this...This hat didn't clear my bank account, did help me protect myself from the sun, does keep me feeling a bit warmer on these brisk fall days AND makes me feel like I'm doing it in a comfortable and stylish way...I'm already looking forward to a Brixton sun hat for next summer.
