Hooligan Driving Cap

Brixton is a new brand name to me and I've been seeing a lot of these old school hooligan caps in the Northwest area. I've always admired this type of hat. It's nonchalant yet calmly sophisticated. My haircuts are the "classic" types (tight on the sides and volume up top - pompadour) and this hat goes well with the current vibe. Brixton caps are comfortable and quite cool. You can wear it straight on, tipped to the left or to the right, high or low. I picked up the black herringbone color and it goes nicely with my wardrobe. Even as fashion trends change over the course of time, "classic" styles will never go out of style...catch my drift?

First off, the exchange by phone process could not be easier. You are almost immediately connected to a human being. I don't know how much that means to all of you, but to me, that is very important. I absolutely hate talking to a machine. As far as the hat is concerned, it's a great hat. There is only one reason that I didn't rate is as excellent. That is because there is a sewn on label on the interior topside. It's kind of annoying at first. Other than that, no complaints. My wife loves it as well, for all you married guys.

The hat I received was the correct color and the fit was perfect after using the charts. It looks wonderful in casual, or dress wear. It is not however a blend of wool and rayon as it says in the description. The hat is 100% cotton. I like cotton but I would expect to get what the order says. The lining however does feel and shine like satin, and I consider this to be the most comfortable hat I've ever worn. I hope to get many years of use from it. This was a birthday gift from my wife, which she let me pick out. Thus far I'm completely satisfied!

Got my Dad a nice Bailey's of Hollywood wool driving cap of his choice last winter, and wanted something similar for myself that looked good, but was less pricey and easier to care for. Read good reviews about this one, and was told by a salesperson that Brixton sizes run a little large, so a M will probably suffice for me. Ordered online and haven't left home without it (except gym) or taken it off outside home ever since. Everyone from parents to coworkers to bartenders agree that it looks good on me, and I find it comfortable enough to not hurt my head even with hours of wearing. Covers-up my messy long hair very nicely without me having to apply gel. I might even order the gray herringbone to mix things up with my wardrobe. :)
