Cheap lampshade spoils the whole thing
The lamp itself is nice, easy to assemble. THEN you get to the excuse for a lampshade, which is a flat rolled up panel with a skimpy velcro strip (which doesn't fasten securely) and that's where I drew the line - I unassembled it, put it back in the box. This is not worth ten bucks, what a mess. Back it goes.

Pleasantly surprised!
I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price but it’s really nice! It has a nice heavy base, it’s a great looking lamp and I love the retro pull chain! There was very minimal (shade) assembly that took barely a minute. It’s a perfect table lamp for my cozy den!
