What it is: A hair serum inspired by skin care that helps to replenish essential moisture to hair while eliminating brassiness.

What it does: It uses violet and pearlized pigments to reveal visibly brighter blonde hues. As the essential first step when caring for blonde hair, this lightweight serum allows for seamless layering of styling products and ensures more even distribution of product throughout the hair. Your hair is left protected, touchably soft and lit-from-within. Free of hydrogen peroxide, it won't turn your hair brassy.

How to use: Dispense 1–2 pumps of product into your hands and work through clean, towel-dried hair from just below your roots to the ends, focusing on any particularly dry or damaged areas. More product can be added for thicker textures or longer lengths. It can be used daily to brighten and tone blonde hair.

Don't buy this unless you want to darken your hair

I just received this product, part of an order with another Oribe product I have used for years. "Bright Blonde" actually darkens my hair (as pointed out in many other reviews) rather than lightening, so, pretty much the opposite of the claims made for it. I wish I had read the honest reviews before I purchased this, now, I have the hassle of returning it to the other side of the country, at my expense!

Give it a chance

I totally agree with a lot of the reviews, the applicator isn't great. So, let me tell you what I did. I grabbed an empty spray bottle, put a quarter of this in, and filled the rest with water and a little styling oil. A good way to use it would be to spray it onto a round brush and brush it through your hair. That way, it spreads evenly. I promise you'll love it this way. My hair used to be more yellow blonde, but now it's platinum blonde, and it's gorgeous, I love it! Plus, it smells amazing. This product is a ten.
