Torq 22-Inch Domestic Wheeled Carry-On

The torq is one of my all time favorite the hunter green with orange zipper is pretty awesome. Don't over pack or you won't be able to use the front laptop pocket or the bag itself will bulge up. Other then that amazing bag

Great bag! Looks more black than green but in the light it looks like a dope hunter green. Swivels well. Sometimes it just slides away from me on a hill but I think that’s a good thing - it’s super easy to push around. It was perfect size for American Airlines carry on. I also dropped it full of things from a long flight of stairs as soon as I got it and it survived well. Love the fact that it comes with a life time guarantee as well.

Overall, it is much smaller than anticipated - especially the exterior laptop compartment. I guess I’m too used to being able to expand my Tumi Alpha 3 carryon when needed. I really wanted to like it and keep it because I am in the market for a new business carryon big enough for a 17” laptop. I will keep searching…

I’ve been a fan of Briggs for 20 years. My whole family has their products. However, I recently bought the torq carry on and medium size hard luggage. The medium is the standard excellent quality I’ve come to expect. However, the carryon is a poor design. The front laptop pocket opens all the time, and just opened up on the carousel too. I’m hoping BR will let me trade it in for a more traditional carryon, without the laptop front - if there’s any pressure in the luggage it’s partially opened.

Solid, and provides a little more protection than soft side luggage. Shame that B&R discontinued this line of bags. I was set to purchase a couple more in the set.

The Briggs & Riley brand and their products are true to their word. They are durable, sturdy, and practical for short trips. I appreciate the ease in rolling on hard surfaces (rolling on carpet requires more torque as it drags slightly), the inside zipper compartment helps with packing cubs, separating clothing, or finding oddities quickly, the exterior pockets secured by lock is useful for identification, charger cords or snack, and the firm handle adjusts in height. The color combination is also cool. To easily find at baggage claim, and to blaze your path in the airport with a nifty colorway, I recommend choosing a non-black color. This is the third Torq carry-on suitcase I have purchased in 5 years. The other two remain reliable, so it was not a replace, simply an addition to the collection. Since learning about Briggs & Riley 12 years ago, I have remained loyal. The lifetime guarantee, their continual product enhancements, and reliability are why I keep coming back. My initial thought was the lifetime guarantee was a gimmick- 'is this really true' or 'why would a company forever repair a product at no cost'. For me, what happens is you enjoy their product so much, you give away suitcases, still in great condition, to family or friends so they can experience it, and you purchase yourself a new one. Or you replace your previous lower quality suitcases. Luggage can easily be an after thought. Once you test and use B&R, you realize the difference in quality, craft, and peace of mind (in that you are not hoping the zipper remains on, it does not sustain damage if you or others drop it, and there is no substantial wear and tear even after years). Lastly, I believe the Torq has been discontinued. I recommend their newer, similar models that expand. Or locating a used Torq. Happy travels
