This well-engineered expandable suitcase features a strong polycarbonate exterior, a set of four double-spinner wheels and interior pockets for easy packing.

Closure: TSA-approved locking two-way zip closure has a combination lock.

Exterior features: Soft-touch top and side carry handles with textured grip make carrying comfortable from any angle. A set of four ball-bearing double-spinner wheels makes for easy concourse navigation, and the waterproof seal locks out moisture.

Interior features: CX compression system increases packing capacity by 17%, then compresses back to original size to keep contents secure. Adjustable compression panels, large zip-around pocket and two smaller mesh pockets allow for worry-free packing.

Special features: A fabric drawstring bag is included for easy storage. A framed leather personalization patch on front of bag is easily monogrammed for customization.

Absolutely perfect
First of all the color is darker than pictured, which is even better-just gorgeous. Now I know it won’t stay that way as it gets used, but the wheels & interior are top notch, high-end & well constructed, which is truly what matters. I also like the light colored lining. So easy to see your smaller items. Lifetime warranty was enticing. I purchased all three sizes & glad I did.

The exterior shell of the two pieces of luggage we bought completely scuffed and scratched on the first use. We are returning these and never buying Briggs & Riley again!

Great travel companion
Great looking piece of luggage with fantastic warranty. Many useful features and very tough and durable. Love the compartments. Expandable feature is extremely useful. If I have to check a bag, this is the one I take when I fly for travel.

Less functional compared to baseline
We have the non-hard case baseline large spinner for years. Thought the hard case might give more functionality but to our surprise, everything the hard shell can do, the baseline can do plus more. One important aspect is that once the hard shell luggage is closed. You can no longer sneak anything else inside. Also the hard shell has easily accessible compartment for thin or flat items (I.e. magazine, slippers, shopping bag, etc). If I had to make my purchase again, I would go with the baseline, which is more functional and versatile IMHO.

Ok
Because of the expansion tool it makes the suitcase heavy. Which defeats the whole purpose of adding more clothes. I do like the spinner part. I want to buy it without the expander feature.
