The Daily Backpack

I was searching for a backpack to update an old leather one I have been using for years. The backpack feels light and the material I would describe as a hybrid of soft canvas and jersey sheets, I'm not sure if that makes sense but it's not super soft nor rough. In my opinion it's way too small for me to use everyday. My makeup bag wallet and water is pretty much all that fits there. I use my backpack to stuff everything, even my lunch. That's not happening with this backpack. Also the opening is narrow. I need something that I can stuff and run out the door. The clasp is magnetic and you have to pull it down to be able to close the bag. Sounds silly but it's just time consuming for me. Looks great but not for me.

The construction is solid, pockets and closures are well done. Lots of organization, and a separate laptop compartment which is a must-have for me. Very compact and rough outer fabric, I would have preferred smooth material that doesn't rub awkwardly on clothes. You won't fit a jacket in there. But really well done for a compact bag.

I bought this bag for work, looking for something that was casual and stylish, not outdoorsy. I wanted a backpack that would hold a laptop, accessories and a few files, not a big multi-purpose bag with too many pockets or compartments. This is exactly what I wanted. Now I won't be hunting endlessly for my keys or digging through 5 different sections to find my phone. The fabric is a medium thickness canvas with a matte quality. Love, love, love!
