Bredon Tartan Accent Cotton & Cashmere Cardigan

I was disappointed in this sweater. I did size up one size and it fit ok. Could probably go up another size for a slouchier fit. I had expected a sort of soft brushed cotton fabric with just a little substance to it, but it's fairly thin and not that soft. The oatmeal color is less oatmeal and more of a tan, which I didn't care for. I probably would prefer the navy, but it's sold out. It's definitely not worth the full price amount and barely worth it at Anni sale price. The plaid detail on elbow patches and placard is cute, but otherwise a pretty basic sweater similar to a thin cotton sweater at Gap, etc. I expected something better from this brand.

I agree with the other reviewer who said it runs small and isn't very soft. I wanted a little more length and maybe room at the bottom in case it shrunk because of the high cotton content. Also the elbow patches appear to be cotton if anyone was wondering. It's really cute on, but I think I want something softer and a little longer.
