Brandie Platform Slide Sandal (Women)

I am 27 and buy vionic out of necessity since I’m a teacher with plantar fasciitis. The majority of the time, I do not find my shoes cute and go for the least offensive pair to wear to work. These are legitimately cute. I haven’t taken them off since they arrived!!! My feet are narrow and they have a narrow fit, so that lends to them being attractive. Probably not great if you have a wide foot. I now want the other colors!

I purchased these in my normal size in the black and LOVE them. They have excellent arch support and the style is luxe - understated and classic at the same time. I love the adjustable width. Another reviewer described them as "hard as a rock" but I disagree. The footbed is soft and the leather straps are very comfortable. True, the base does not bend much, but you wouldn't want it to in this kind of sandal (think of a birkenstock - it doesn't bend, and gives excellent support). It's a platform that provides support and stability.

Love that both straps are adjustable for width. I was nervous about the other reviews saying how heavy they were. But they don’t seem overly heavy at all to me. I’d say average weight. Would be nicer if they were slightly lighter though but I think they wouldn’t give the needed support if they were. I bought for the adjustable width and that’s what I like about this shoe. Overall cute and stylish and great for wide feet.
