Details & care
What it is: A hand-poured candle made with warm, spicy ingredients that are rare as the scent's namesake inspiration.
Fragrance story: Rare and fervent as a redhead, this scent is grounded in redwood cedar, with regal notes of frankincense, amber, and cashmeran. Vetiver and ginger add spice, while saffron and poppy provide an exotic finish.
Notes: frankincense, saffron, redwood, poppy, pomelo.

Bought my fifth candle
This is my favorite scent. It’s very herbaceous and earthy. Last a month if used moderately

misleading
The scents listed on the label of the candle are different than those listed on the redhead candle I received. Quite confused. But notice the picture on the nordy’s website and the “notes” in the description also do not match. Makes it hard to buy a candle online. Smell is ehhh not my cup of tea. Would have really enjoyed what the picture advertised!

Not the best performance.
Not that fragrant when lit, unfortunately. Scent of the candle itself is nice, I'd say pomelo is the dominant note. Can't recommend due to poor performance.

Disappointed
Smelled this at the store & it smelled so good. Been burning for 3 hours & can barely smell it. Not a scent I typically gravitate towards. Thought it would be a good scent for the transition into fall. Can't wait until this is done & I can burn Diptyque's Pomander. So far I have a 50% success rate with Boy Smells as the scent throws aren't as quality as Diptyque.

Redhead Scented Candle
I am a redhead so I thought this would be a good addition to my fragrant candles. Was I ever wrong. This has a very strong smell which does not agree with me. I don't even think men would like it. I was so sorry that it turned out that way. I am going to return it.

This Redhead is more of a Wallflower
I really want to love this candle but it has two issues:
1. The size of the candle is just a bit too wide for the wax to burn cleanly down. It tunnels, leaving about a half inch of wax unmelted around the sides. I can work with that - give it a candle hat to bounce the heat back down and it will burn more cleanly. However, that's not an ideal solution because...
2. There is practically zero throw for its scent! I am five feet away from this candle and I can barely smell it. (As in, I periodically look around confused and think "did I just smell something? Was that my candle?"
If you are into really subtle candle fragrances, this might be the candle for you. I won't be repurchasing because I appreciate a more forward-scented candle (think DG & Durga's Breakfast in Leipzig or Nest's Hearth).
