What it is: A candle made from a blend of coconut wax and beeswax, poured in a glossy black tumbler and finished with a braided cotton wick.
Fragrance story: Sometimes you have to burn everything down to start new. Dry hay and black coals permeate throughout the burn. A lingering accord of bright juniper berry round out this modern, smoky scent.
Notes: Firewood, smoke, charcoal, palo santo, hay.

Not only does it burn evenly and slowly, it produces a full room scent that exudes throughout.
Manly but soft scented with hints of smoke tobacco and palo santo.

Dangerous- larger flame and the glass got too hot it cracked
dangerous candle. The flame went crazy and the glass cracked and fell off. Could have resulted in a fire! It looks as though the wick veered toward one side and may be too thick for the size of the candle I received in a Christmas calender. It needs to be discontinued or the wick needs to be reduced in size

Not for me
The smell was fairly strong, and was very incense heavy. I felt like a 90s angsty teenager again, and not really in a good way. It's very smoke shop-esque. If you are an incense person, it's probably great, but not my scent. The design was really nice though, and it burned evenly and for the 50 hours + it promises.

Great quality for the price
Boy smells candles are amazing quality and smell up the entire room. I ordered the Ash scent but was sent Cinderose somehow. Fortunately for me I love all of this brands scents so the mix up didn’t bother me too much

Great!
This candle smells wonderful; it’s not too musty and not too pretty. It fills a large space but isn’t overwhelming. The packaging is perfect. Many people in the office thought it was going to be too mannish and outdoorsy but everyone is pleased.

Lovely scent
A lovely scent, warm, slightly sweet and the smokiness is very subtle. As the candle burns, the scent doesn't overpower a room. Love the votive jar these candles come in. Nordstrom, please stock more scents from Boy Smells!

Unexpected but lovely
Feel the scent is antithetical to its description with far more of a patchouli spice vibe. It’s beautiful and we like it a lot for its warm spiritual zen energy however it smells nothing like a bonfire or anywhere near smoky, woody. It’s being discontinued so maybe no matter.
