Bow Detail Smock Bodice Cotton Blend Dress

I found and bought this dress in store, so I was able to try it on before I bought it. I bought it in white, since I don't have like any white dresses. I love the pockets and the length. I'm 5'3" and weigh about 140lbs. I've been trying to find a dress that cinches at the waist and flares out as I have gained some weight. This is going to be my comfy summer dress--where I don't need to worry about my tummy sticking out/sucking my tummy in. I love how I can wear this with sneaker (casual) or heels (fancy). I bought a small but I'm usually a medium--I usually get a small if I know the material is stretchy...I do have a smaller chest as well so buying a small seemed better for that reason as well. I saw a previous comment mentioning the skirt has more of a canvas/heavier feel, which is accurate. I kind of prefer it that way so it keep its shape. I think you don't need a bra for this dress, but there's no harm in getting nipple covers/pasties or one of those sticky bras. The model in this pic is taller, but I would say this is a midi dress for me.
