Eau de Parfum

love a borderline unisex fragrance, but nothing yet has been woman enough without floral bursts or marine. l wear hermes merveille. prada candy nice but too vanilla. i have versions of both also a few dg and versace yellow diamond. all no wow. this is it. thrilled it doesnt remind me of bath suds (tory burch), or spring bulbs (something blue). i enjoy the depth and manliness i catch in it, but its not overtly woody. tried burberry recently and they almost got me but remind of ralph l. safari. bottega veneta is deep and dark like spellbound, velvet orchid (without the 4711 memory), black orchid, yet doesnt come off cheap or sweeetly sick. black orchid being the only perfume my partner has ever complimented, he's so strange i can't stand it. this one gets instant store visit purchase LOVE LOVE LOVE. almost like a nice cashmere sweater or deep fall woods with snow on the ground. so pretty light and complicated. can't really describe notes i'm not that studious to perfume but try it.

I am going to start off by echoing so many of the other reviewers who have stated that Bottega Veneta is absolutely, gorgeously, fabulous. I am so fond of this fragrance that I have felt the urge to say the same. Not only is the fragrance elegant and classy but it is also, like others have said, easy to wear. Some fragrances have a synthetic, cloying tone which makes them hard to wear, especially if you have allergies; but not BV! It sinks right in and mixes with your body chemistry. As others have said, it does not make you sneeze and it lingers long after you cannot smell it anymore. I have had several people stick their head in my office and say...."wow, what is that smelling so good".....and I can no longer smell it. I want to say, for those that have questioned the staying power, rest assured, it is there! I love fragrances, but some days, I don't really want to wear something that "I" can smell or that "lays" on my skin all day....again, BV is a soft, light, powdery but earthy and spicy, "skinscent" type of fragrance that you can wear with the confidence of knowing you smell nice but your fragrance is not overpowering and it does not "annoy" you, or others, all day long. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE never stop making this perfume!

I have been looking for the perfect perfume for myself for many years! At last I have found the 'love of my life' in Bottega Veneta. It is exactly what I've been looking for. Very, very sexy scent. Strong hints of patchouli and woodsy musk. I am crazy about this perfume and hope that they never stop making it!

I bought this perfume based on a review in a perfume blog. I had a feeling I would love it. Never having bought a bottle of perfume unsniffed before, I was tentative about spending so much money so I bought the smallest amount possible. I am not disappointed. I absolutely love it. If you are someone who enjoys leather scents, or scents with pink pepper, this is one to try. I can detect them both and they smell very smooth and nice along with the floral notes. It is a fairly light scent, and can definitely be worn during the day at work without worrying that you will be causing problems for your co-workers. Even though the description says it has plum, it is not fruity to my nose at all, it is more floral. I bet I will purchase the bigger size next time!
