Bedford Leather Tote

I was looking for a large bag to use for work. I’ve been using a Tory Burch tote that I love, but it’s not always easy to get over my shoulder and I was looking for longer straps. This bag seemed to fit the bill. I just received the bag today, and am a bit disappointed. The straps are long enough to be easily thrown over the shoulder, and the bag is big enough to hold legal-sized tablets, my laptop, etc. The structure of the bag seems solid and it came with a nice dust bag as well. There are a lot of good things about the bag. Having said all that, I don’t think the color of the bag is accurately reflected at all. I ordered camel and was expecting a brown-shade. The bag is actually much lighter in color. I would describe it as more of a beige-taupe. Maybe even a peach colored undertone. The leather also has a sheen to it, bordering on a shimmer, when the light hits it. For the sale price I paid, I am going to keep the bag. The quality seems great and its certainly functional for what I need. However, it’s not what I was expecting from the photos or description.
