Beautiful skirt
While looking at Nordstrom's Atlanta store, I tried this on just to see how it fit. It couldn't have been a more perfect fit. The length was perfect, the waistband fit comfortably on the waist, (which I love) and it was quality material & design. An ultimate timeless wardrobe classic. Pricey but worth it! I definitely would recommend.

Very high-waisted and very small-waisted.
I got this skirt to wear with the navy Boss Jalesana jacket I purchased in the same fabric - the jacket is gorgeous! But the skirt is very high-waisted and very small-waisted. This is a beautiful skirt made from beautiful light-weight textured wool fabric, gorgeous midnight blue (dark navy) color. However, I mourn the day that designers decided to try and bring back high-waisted pants and skirts… imo they are so uncomfortable. I have slim hips and waist - but I can't even get the zipper all the way up on the size 4 (my usual Boss bottoms size is a 2 or a 4). The hips fit perfectly, but the waist is way (way) too small. Luckily, the color is nice and dark and looks great with black, so I will be mixing the jacket with black pants and skirts, and wear it over dresses with nude heels.
